6. The Demo God
One of the most used phrases in the Wednesday Night Wars between AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT was invented by Chris Jericho in 2020.
Dynamite usually beats NXT in viewership, but when they draw a lower viewership than the black and gold brand, they bring up the importance of the viewer demographic, which is indeed very important for networks.
Le Champion is the one to talk about demos frequently, as Dynamite defeats NXT in most of the demos, especially the key 18-49 one.
During his feud with Orange Cassidy, Jericho called himself The Demo God for the first time on AEW programming to shed some light on the fact that Dynamite always scores higher in the demo than NXT.
