3. Brodie Lee’s Parody Of Vince McMahon
Brodie Lee, who used to go with the name of Luke Harper in WWE, made his AEW debut earlier this year as “The Exalted One” of The Dark Order.
The night he showed up on Dynamite, Lee took a shot at WWE CEO Vince McMahon for how poorly he booked him in his company.
He was interrupted by a fed up SCU. Lee then told Christopher Daniels the following:
“Mr. Daniels, I assure you, you are not the first out-of-touch old man to not believe in me.”
This was clearly a shot at Vince McMahon.
Another shot Lee took at McMahon came a few weeks later. He was enjoying a steak in a dinner segment with Alex Reynolds and John Silver. Lee chastised the other two about where The Dark Order was headed, and how they needed to get with the program.
Silver went to eat his food, but Lee kicked him out of the room because he tried to eat before Lee was done with his own meal. Reynolds then sneezed, which also upset Lee. Reynolds was then also kicked out, and Lee sat back down to finish his meal.
This was in reference to McMahon eating at Morton’s Steakhouse, and getting mad because he had to be the first one to eat. He also dislikes people sneezing around him.
Another shot at McMahon came when Lee told people not to yawn in his presence, which is another thing disliked by the CEO of WWE.
