2. Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax – RAW Women’s Championship Match
Asuka won the 2020 Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match. While everyone including her thought that she became Ms. Money In The Bank, she actually became the RAW Women’s Champion that night.
The new RAW Women’s Champion will now be looking forward to her first challenger. There’s a possibility that her first challenger will be Nia Jax.
WWE had reportedly planned a feud between the two women after the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, as Jax defeated the Champion’s best friend, Kairi Sane, twice on RAW.
WWE could still go with the plan, but it would be for the Title now. Asuka defeating The Irresistible Force at Backlash would be a great way for her to kick off her reign, as she has to fill in Becky Lynch’s shoes now.
Also, since Asuka is a babyface now, her facing a monster heel like Nia Jax makes sense.
