19. Melina
Melina was rumored to return to WWE back in September, but it didn’t happen. This was probably due to the fact that WWE wants to keep her return a secret.
Melina denied the rumors of her return, which means that she has most likely signed a deal with WWE (especially given the fact that she’ll be a part of “RAW Legends Night”).
The rumored plan for her return was to show up in NXT to work with younger wrestlers, but it got scrapped or delayed because of a COVID-19 outbreak in the brand.
Melina would make for a good surprise return at the Royal Rumble, and then she could join any brand she wants afterwards.
18. John Cena
The 16-Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion wasn’t seen much in WWE this year. He only worked a few episodes of SmackDown and went off TV once again after losing the Firefly Fun House match to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.
Cena could make his return at the Royal Rumble. WWE could plant seeds for his next feud during the Men’s Royal Rumble match as that’s where the road to WrestleMania 37 begins.
