Goldberg wins the Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown 2020

Goldberg returned to SmackDown earlier this year to challenge “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to a match for the Universal Championship match at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

Surprisingly, the WWE Hall Of Famer did the impossible and pinned The Fiend in 3 minutes to become the new champion.

He was challenged by Roman Reigns for his Title the following night on SmackDown. Their match is now official and they will collide in just a week from Sunday at “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”.

WrestleMania 36 will be the second pay-per-view Goldberg is going to work this year, and he won’t be there after it. He doesn’t work regularly, which makes it obvious that Reigns is going to win the Universal Championship at the Show Of Shows.

Goldberg just stayed to give the fans the dream “Spear vs. Spear” bout, and he’s most probably going to be taken off WWE programming immediately after WrestleMania 36.
