3. Brock Lesnar
“The Beast” is set to defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 next weekend. He too, is expected to be taken off WWE programming after the Showcase Of Immortals.
Whether Lesnar retains or drops the Title, we’re sure he won’t be back until SummerSlam 2020. The original plan is for Lesnar to drop the Title and be taken off TV, but plans could change due to the change in WrestleMania’s venue and zero fans being in attendance.
Even if he successfully retains the Title, his next defense will probably be at SummerSlam. However, if he drops it, then we could see the rumored Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley bout at SummerSlam 2020 in August this year.
Lesnar has worked more than he normally does this year, and he’s been pretty invested in his feud with Drew McIntyre. A well deserved break is imminent for him after WrestleMania 36.
