• Many Wrestlers Who Should’ve Been At Hulk Hogan’s Funeral Didn’t Attend
2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack in July this year. A lot of big names from the pro wrestling world attended his funeral, but there were some major names who were not at the event.
While speaking on Glory Daze with Johnny Manziel, Hogan’s fellow Hall of Famer Ric Flair said that many people who should’ve been at the funeral weren’t there, and some surprising names showed up.
“I was just watching everybody, does that make sense? I think there were a lot of wrestlers that should’ve been there that didn’t come, but you know, everybody makes their own choices. He wrestled at a time when it was very political and you had to stand up for yourself.
It wasn’t like now where it’s, hey, it’s this way or the highway. You had to fight for your position and he did and he made some enemies along the way and I think those guys didn’t show up.
Aside from that, I thought it was nice but I was kind of people watching to see what was going on. I was surprised at some people that didn’t come and surprised at some that did come. I don’t know, it was different. I certainly didn’t stay for the celebration.”

• Saudi Arabia To Pay WWE $350 Million For Just Two Events
WWE announced on Friday in Las Vegas that WrestleMania will officially head to Saudi Arabia in 2027, making the kingdom just the third country ever to host The Grandest Stage Of Them All. It’s a huge milestone for WWE as it continues to expand its Premium Live Events around the world.
Many legendary names are expected to be a part of the two-night event. Early reports suggest that the entire WrestleMania week will be held in Riyadh. NXT’s involvement isn’t confirmed yet.
According to Nick LoPiccolo (who works for Paradigm Talent Agency, where a number of WWE stars are signed), WWE will receive $250 million from Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania 43 and $100 million for next year’s Royal Rumble in Riyadh. That would be a combined $350 million for just two events.
Saudi Arabia normally pays $50 million per PLE to WWE, but since these are the “Big 4” PLEs, they obviously will cost more.
