On tonight’s season premiere episode of WWE RAW, Maryse threw a birthday party for The Miz, but Dexter Lumis ruined it.

Dexter tried to choke out Miz again. Maryse tried to save Miz, but got pushed face-first into the cake. Miz managed to escape and ran away. Dexter then ended the segment by eating the cake.

When Maryse got out of the ring, she suffered a nip-slip due to her revealing dress.

You can check it out in the video below:

In a backstage segment with DX’s Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg & X-Pac, Miz complained about Dexter going after him for no reason.

Road Dogg pitched Miz vs. Lumis for next week. If Miz wins, Lumis leaves forever. If Lumis wins, he gets a WWE contract. Miz accepted.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (October 10, 1999) – Heroes of Wrestling

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on October 10, 1999, Fosstone Productions aired ‘Heroes of Wrestling’ LIVE on PPV from the Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

This would have been the first in a series of 4 PPVs, that would feature Old School 80s & 90s WWF/NWA/WCW Legends, but due to a low buy rate of only 29,000 pay-per-view buys, the plans for more events were canceled.

Jake Roberts appeared intoxicated (drunk and/or high) for his co-main event match against Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, which is why promoter Bill Stone sent out the wrestlers that were scheduled for the main event, King Kong Bundy & Yokozuna, to team up with them, thus putting the 2 main events together into a Tag Team main event, in order to salvage the situation.

While this PPV has a very bad reputation among the internet fans, some calling it “The worst PPV ever” like Dave Meltzer wrote in 1999, the event itself was still a lot more entertaining than 99% of the modern day era (2008-now) wrestling shows.

Here are the PPV results:

The Samoan Swat Team defeated Marty Jannetty & Tommy Rogers

Greg Valentine defeated George Steele

2 Cold Scorpio defeated Julio Fantastico

The Bushwhackers defeated The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff

Tully Blanchard defeated Stan Lane

Abdullah the Butcher vs. One Man Gang ended in a double count-out

Jimmy Snuka defeated Bob Orton Jr.

Jim Neidhart & King Kong Bundy defeated Jake Roberts & Yokozuna
