2. Will Cesaro End Up on SmackDown Live If He Doesn’t Become Raw Tag Team Champion With Sheamus?
Raw General Manager Mick Foley addressed the situation between Cesaro & Sheamus on Raw after their match #7 ended in a no-contest at Clash of Champions 2016.
Foley noted that both men deserve a Championship opportunity and they will get it, but at the same time. Foley noted that they’ll face the winners of the New Day – Luke Gallows/Karl Anderson Raw Tag Team Title match, which took place after this segment.
The New Day managed to knock off The Club members yet again and retained their Raw Tag Team Titles. They will now defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against the team of Cesaro & Sheamus.
It should be noted that if Cesaro gets screwed out of the Title picture again or his heat with Sheamus results in the two failing to capture the Raw Tag Team Titles, then Cesaro can change his mind and make a move which will allow him to get ample and fair opportunities. This move would be joining SmackDown Live.
During last night’s Raw, SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan tweeted an offer to Cesaro. Below is the exchange between the two:
