8. Ric Flair
Back in the Golden days of Wreslting, the Dream Match was Hulk Hogan, who was the biggest star of the WWF, taking on the biggest star of the NWA, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
In 1992, this match was supposed to take place at WWF WrestleMania VIII where then WWF Champion Ric Flair was supposed to battle the #1 Contender Hulk Hogan in the Main Event. This would’ve been without a shadow of doubt, a huge draw! The fans were very excited to see this and were eager to know who will emerge victorious.
But Unfortunately, the match didn’t take place due to a number of reasons. One of the sole reasons for the match not taking place was that the duo couldn’t agree on the ending of the match.
Instead of this big match on the grandest stage of them all, the fans got a short feud at house shows where Flair would get the win by using some brass knuckles but the referee later reversed the decision when he found the external weapon or we would get a count-out finish with Hogan getting the win here as well.
