• Old School WWF Jobber Passes Away

We are saddened to report that Old School WWF Enhancement Talent Ken Raper passed away last night at the age of 67.

Ken used to wrestle for the Memphis Wrestling territory (CWA and later USWA) during the 80s and early 90s, but most fans will remember him from doing jobs for the World Wrestling Federation from 1995 until 1997.

He put over famous WWF Wrestlers like Bob Backlund, Goldust, Razor Ramon, Faarooq (Ron Simmons) & Kama (The Godfather) on weekly WWF TV shows like Monday Night RAW and WWF Superstars.

Classic Memphis Wrestling News reported the following:

“We are saddened to report the passing of Ken Raper today at the age of 67. Ken worked for the CWA and USWA in Memphis from the early 1980s until the mid 1990s.

Kenneth C Raper, 1/8/1955 – 1/24/2022.”

On this day in 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Shotgun Saturday Night ‘.
