On this day in Pro Wrestling history on February 29, 1992, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW SuperBrawl II’ LIVE on PPV from the MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This pay-per-view featured the final match of Lex Luger’s first WCW run, before he joined Vince McMahon’s World Bodybuilding Federation a few weeks later.

The tagline on the poster was “Best Friends, Now Bitter Rivals, Brawl For It All”

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on February 29, 1992, the World Wrestling Federation held an untelevised house show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

This was one of 4 (!!!) untelevised live events that day, and featured matches on the road to the ‘WWF WrestleMania 8’ PPV.
