On this day in 1998, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.
It was broadcasted from the Selland Arena in Fresno, California and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF In Your House 20: No Way Out of Texas’ PPV.
This show included the legendary face-off between Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin, which ended in a brawl with multiple associates keeping them apart.

On this day in 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1997’ PPV, that aired later on the same day.
This was basically the official Pre-Show of the pay-per-view.
It aired live from the empty arena and featured Jim Ross conducting interviews with Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and WWF World Champion Psycho Sid, as well as a closing segment in which Steve Austin interrupted Dok Hendrix & Todd Pettingill
