On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 18, 2001, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Greed’ LIVE on PPV from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida.
This was the last WCW pay-per-view, before the company was sold to Vince McMahon only a couple days later.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 18, 1989, the World Wrestling Federation held an televised house show at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
This live event was televised on the MSG Network with Tony Schiavone & Lord Alfred Hayes on commentary.
