• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Tiger Ali Singh (Real name: Gurjit Singh) celebrates his birthday today.

Tiger Ali Singh worked for the World Wrestling Federation from 1997 until 2002, but despite wrestling quite a few matches, including a win over Edge on PPV in 1998, Singh is mostly remembered for his manager role in 2000 & 2001, when he managed the Tag Team of D’Lo Brown & Chaz (Headbanger Mosh), called “Lo Down”.

After being released from the now renamed WWE in July of 2002, he filled a $7 million lawsuit against his former employer regarding his career ending injury. The case was eventually settled out of court.

Tiger Ali is the son of famous international Old School Wrestling Veteran Tiger Jeet Singh.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (March 9, 2019) – WWF Attitude Era Manager Passed Away

On this day in 2019 we lost Old School WWF Attitude Era Manager Era Manager Yamaguchi-san (Wally Yamaguchi) at the age of 60 after a lengthy battle with an undisclosed illness.

Yamaguchi-san is best remembered for being the manager of the Attitude Era stable Kaientai in 1998.

The most famous moment he was involved in during his brief WWF career, was without a doubt the infamous “Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee” segment with Val Venis.

Yamaguchi was suffering from health problems after suffering a stroke back in 2017, before he passed away in 2019.

• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School Tag Team Wrestling Legend ‘The Dog Faced Gremlin’ Rick Steiner (Real name: Robert Rechsteiner) celebrates his birthday today.

Rick Steiner was one half of the legendary Steiner Brothers, with his real life brother Scott Steiner.

Together they wrestled for pretty much all big promotions in the states, like Jim Crockett Promotions, the World Wrestling Federation, Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action!, …

In 2022 The Steiner Brothers were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Rick’s son, WWE Superstar Bron Breakker.

• Old School NWA Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School Wrestling Legend ‘The Russian Nightmare’ Nikita Koloff (Real birth name: Nelson Simpson) celebrates his birthday today.

Nikita was famous for his time in Jim Crockett Promotions during the 80s and also his 1991-1992 run with World Championship Wrestling.

The highlights of his career were certainly main eventing ‘NWA The Great American Bash 1985’ as well as ‘NWA Starrcade 1986’, both times challenging Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
