• Old School WWF Attitude Era Manager Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of Old School WWF Attitude Era Manager Yamaguchi-san (Wally Yamaguchi).

Yamaguchi-san is best remembered for being the manager of the Attitude Era stable Kaientai.

The most famous moment he was involved in during his brief WWF career, was without a doubt the infamous “Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee” segment with Val Venis.

Yamaguchi was suffering from health problems after suffering a stroke back in 2017, before he passed away in 2019.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & REST IN PEACE!

He is the father of Old School WCW Veteran Erik Watts.

Bill was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 by his territory’s former announcer Jim Ross.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 5, 2002) – Old School WCW Referee Passed Away

On this day in 2002 we lost Old School WCW Referee Randy Anderson at the age of 43 due to testicular cancer.

Randy Anderson was a professional wrestling referee during the 70s, 80s & 90s, working for several territories such as Mid-South Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida and Jim Crockett Promotions.

When Ted Turner bought Jim Crockett Promotions in late 1988 and renamed it World Championship Wrestling, Randy stayed with the promotion until 1999.

If you watched WCW Monday Nitro in 1997, you will probably remember when Eric Bischoff fired him (storyline wise).

REST IN PEACE RANDY ANDERSON!
