• One Of Brock Lesnar’s Best Victories Took Place 10 Years Ago Today

On this day in 2010, Brock Lesnar defeated Shane Carwin at UFC 116 in the 2nd round via submission to become the undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Lesnar was in trouble throughout the first round of this fight, where he was badly beaten down and bloodied up, but he capitalized in the second round and made Carwin tap out.

Lesnar vs. Carwin was rescheduled multiple times, as Lesnar was suffering from mononucleosis and a serious case of diverticulitis.

This PPV did 1.16 million buys and UFC made $70 million in PPV revenue alone.
