One Of The Biggest Stars Of All Time Became WWF Champion For The 1st Time Ever 23 Years Ago Today

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on November 15, 1998, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WWF Survivor Series 1998’ LIVE on PPV from the Kiel Center at St. Louis, Missouri.

The 1998 edition of the World Wrestling Federation’s traditional ‘Survivor Series’ event featured a 14-man tournament for the vacant WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

This Survivor Series didn’t even feature one classic Survivor Series Elimination match, but is still being remembered as one of the better Survivor Series PPVs.

This PPV ended with The Rock becoming the WWF Champion for the 1st time ever.
