• Original New Name Pitched For The Viking Experience Revealed

As seen on this week’s Superstar Shake-Up edition of RAW, NXT Tag Team Champions War Raiders debuted as The Viking Experience and this new name upset a lot of fans.

According to PWInsider, the original new name pitched for them was The Berzerkers, but that was eventually nixed and they went ahead with The Viking Experience.

It’s quite possible that WWE nixed the name because former WWF wrestler The Berzerker (John Nord) was recently deemed inimical to public safety (tap here to read more).

According to the Wrestling Observer, The Viking Experience is set to feud with Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins for the RAW Tag Team Titles. As seen on RAW, The Vikings pinned RAW Tag Team Champion Zack Ryder to win their 8 man tag team match.
