Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura.
• According to the Wrestling Observer, Drew McIntyre’s trajectory was initially planned to involve a feud with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes after WrestleMania 41.
However, the outcome of Rhodes’ WrestleMania match against John Cena could significantly alter those plans:
“McIntyre was moved to SmackDown originally for a title match series with Rhodes, but if Rhodes loses (to John Cena at WrestleMania 41) that falls apart as I don’t see them doing Cena vs. McIntyre.”
Drew is currently scheduled to face Damian Priest at WrestleMania 41. Priest cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract on McIntyre at last year’s WrestleMania to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

• On The Hump, a fan asked Sean Ross Sapp if Shinsuke Nakamura is on a part-time deal with WWE due to his uneven schedule in the past few years. Ross replied:
“No, he’s on a full-time deal. He worked I think 55 matches last year. He worked like 60 to 70 (matches) the year before. It’s been pretty well even since the COVID years, but he’s on a full-time deal.
Also, dude’s getting a little bit older. He likes his surfing, he’s 45 years old and signed a new deal last year.
For some reason, there were people lying and saying that Wade Keller claimed that he was leaving (WWE). Wade Keller didn’t say that. It wasn’t reported so it wasn’t the case.”
Nakamura recently lost the United States Championship to LA Knight on SmackDown.
