• Paul Heyman Made The Decision Regarding Recent Title Change

As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match in a Fatal 4 Way tag team elimination match.

This match was originally scheduled to take place at SummerSlam 2019 this Sunday, but plans got changed.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman made the decision of doing this Title change on RAW instead of SummerSlam 2019:

“That was said to be a Paul Heyman decision, probably figuring the title change would mean more with a longer match and could be showcased better rather then being a forgotten part of a long show.”
