Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Jesse Ventura and John Cena.

• Jesse Ventura will return to WWE programming soon. The WWE Hall of Famer recently confirmed that he signed a WWE Legends deal, something he’d been working on for several months.

Ventura, who gained fame both as a wrestler and later as a commentator for WWF, now has the potential for more appearances.

After news of his deal broke, speculation began about how WWE might use Ventura on TV. With Saturday Night’s Main Event coming up on December 14th, many fans think it would be fitting for him to be part of the event, given his past involvement.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there are indeed plans for Ventura to appear at the show:

“The role is to be determined. Right now the idea is for him to not announce the entire show, perhaps an interview segment or announcing a match but the idea now is simply for him to be part of the show for nostalgia reasons.”

NEW VIDEO: Super Exposing Shots Of Brandi Rhodes (Cody Rhodes’ Wife):

• In an interview with SPORTbible, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes pointed out that John Cena is the only wrestler in WWE who is allowed to speak directly to the camera, mentioning how Cena talks to cameraman Stu during his entrance.

Here’s what The American Nightmare said:

“When I went away and came back, I was allowed to bring everything back with me, including breaking a lot of the pre-existing rules. We’re out of the frame of looking at monitors sideways now. You know, what’s still a pretty big on-air rule but it’s good for production purposes, is not to talk into the camera.

That’s John’s thing. John looks at the camera and mentions Stu the cameraman, runs to the ring. I don’t want to see anyone, including myself, do it – and I probably have done at some point. But that’s his (thing) and that’s the reason why it’s a rule – until somebody beats him and then it’s his.”
