12. Possible Match For Shane McMahon At SummerSlam 2017, Triple H Frustrated With Vince McMahon

Possible Match For Shane McMahon At SummerSlam 2017

Word going on is that SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon is scheduled to compete at this year’s biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam 2017.

Regarding who Shane O’Mac’s opponent might be, it’s currently rumored to be the former two time United States Champion Rusev (who has now been cleared to return to in-ring action). It looks like the seeds for this feud have already been planted when Rusev asked Shane McMahon to put him in the WWE Title match at Money In The Bank 2017, but Shane ignored his request. Rusev then noted that he’ll show up on SmackDown Live to confront Shane O’Mac regarding this, but he didn’t show up (possibly because he wasn’t given the clearance by doctors at that point). It should be noted that Shane has competed in two singles matches since his return to WWE in 2016 (at WrestleMania 32 & 33) and lost both of them.

Triple H Frustrated With Vince McMahon

According to PWTorch, Triple H is frustrated with Vince McMahon. According to the report, Triple H is not happy with how Vince books NXT call-ups on the WWE main roster as the 14 time World Champion thinks his hard work in NXT is being wasted when someone is called up to the main roster and is not used correctly.

One such example would be Tye Dillinger, who debuted on the WWE main roster on the post-WrestleMania 33 edition of SmackDown Live and hasn’t been involved in any noteworthy feud since then.
