• Possible Opponent For Seth Rollins If He Wrestles Tonight At SummerSlam 2022

Seth Rollins vs. Riddle was scheduled to take place tonight at SummerSlam 2022, but that’s no longer the case.

In the main event of this week’s RAW from Madison Square Garden, The Bloodline defeated Riddle & The Street Profits in the main event.

Roman Reigns speared Riddle to pick up the win. After the match, Rollins came out and brutally assaulted Riddle.

WWE then released the following update:

“@WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.

Due to this injury, Riddle vs. Rollins at #SummerSlam has been postponed.”

Rollins tweeted the following about it:

“For anyone who purchased a ticket to SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.”

According to Fightful Select, this is a kayfabe injury due to “creative adjustments”.

Rollins & Riddle were informed about this change on Monday and the current plan is to save this match for the “Clash At The Castle” premium live event in the United Kingdom on September 3rd.

Seth is in Nashville for the SummerSlam weekend due to media obligations.

In an update to this situation, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that if Seth wrestles tonight, his opponent will most likely be Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler recently turned babyface and is feuding with Mr. Money In The Bank Theory.
