6. Bayley Still Not A Part Of The Main Roster

As we noted, former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley made her main roster debut as Sasha’s mystery partner, but she’s not scheduled to be a part of the main roster at the moment.

Michael Cole & JBL mentioned multiple times that Bayley’s appearance on a WWE main roster PPV was only a one-time thing. As we have noted before, she’s expected to stay in NXT until her NXT Women’s Championship rematch against Asuka at NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn. It’s safe to say Bayley won’t be competing at SummerSlam 2016, but she’ll be wrestling during the SummerSlam weekend at Takeover.

Update: Bayley has also confirmed that her appearance was a one time thing in the interview below:

5. Intercontinental Championship Feud Ends With No Conclusion? What’s Next For Sheamus

At Battleground 2016, Darren Young faced The Miz for the Intercontinental Title. During the match, Maryse attacked Bob Backlund and then Miz shoved Backlund as well. This led to Young putting Miz in the Crossface Chickenwing outside the ring. The referee had to call for the bell due to Young not breaking the hold.

But since the Brand Split will be effective from this week, it looks like this Intercontinental Title feud will end without any conclusion as Darren Young will be a part of Raw while The Miz will be exclusive to SmackDown Live.

During a recent interview with Muscle & Fitness, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus talked about winning the WWE Title for the first time in 2009, what’s next for him & more. Below are the highlights:

On Winning The WWE Championship For The 1st Tme In 2009:

“It was crazy. I was always confident that I would win it, but I didn’t think it would happen that quickly. All of sudden, I have the championship belt and my bag weighs about 50 pounds heavier! It was really cool.”

What’s Next For Sheamus?

“Right now I’m in a very good place were I have achieved 4 World Heavyweight Titles, I’ve won the Royal Rumble, and Money in the Bank. The challenge now is to help some of the new kids that are coming up through the ranks. I’m really excited about getting in the ring with some fresh new opponents and helping to make the next generation of superstars.”
