3. Dean Ambrose Retains The WWE Championship, Roman Reigns Pinned Clean Again
Dean Ambrose retained the WWE Championship during the Triple Threat WWE Championship main event at Battleground 2016 and the Title will now stay on SmackDown Live.
Both Commissioners & General Managers came out for the main event. There was a point during the match when Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins did the signature Powerbomb through the announce table on Roman Reigns.

The finish came when Ambrose hit Reigns with the Dirty Deeds for the win. Once again Reigns got pinned clean. Dean Ambrose is still the WWE Champion and the Title remains on SmackDown.
