4. Finn Balor Hopeful To Return In Time For WrestleMania 33
Former Universal Champion Finn Balor provided an update on his condition to WWE.com. Balor has been rehabbing his shoulder for 3 weeks now and feels like he has been doing it for a lifetime.
Balor noted that he’s under 5 months from return and is hopeful that he will return in-time for WrestleMania 33, which will turn out to be his WrestleMania debut.
For those who don’t know, Balor injured his shoulder during his SummerSlam 2016 bout with Seth Rollins to crown the inaugural WWE Universal Champion. The injury occurred when Rollins delivered a Buckle Bomb onto the barricade outside the ring. Balor knew at that point that something was wrong, but he still managed to finish the match as planned and walked out of SummerSlam as the 1st ever Universal Champion.
