3. Raw Ratings Destroyed By NFL
As we noted before, this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which featured WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns in the main event, drew 2.69 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 3.07 million viewers.
The main event saw interference from Seth Rollins and the returning United States Champion Rusev. Rusev’s distraction ended up costing Reigns the match as Owens nailed a Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win. Kevin Owens will now defend his Title against Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match at Clash of Champions 2016.
The final rating of the show turned out to be 1.88, which is down from last week’s 2.11. The lowest rated episode of Raw this year was the July 4th episode with a rating of 1.87. It should be noted that this week’s Raw was destroyed by NFL.
