• RAW Star Has Impressed WWE Officials

The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) are multi-time Tag Team Champions in WWE.

Fans always talk about how Montez is eventually going to become a singles star, and Angelo is often overlooked.

However, Angelo is making sure he doesn’t get left behind if The Street Profits ever break up.

According to Fightful Select, Dawkins has impressed WWE Officials with his work as of late:

“One WWE source heavily credited Angelo Dawkins with improvements all around, from his physique, to his in-ring ability, to the style that he’s worked.

Another WWE source said that it’s not an accident that Dawkins has been working more singles matches since this Summer.

For context, he’s had as many singles matches since June 20 that he had from WrestleMania 2021 to May 2022. That same source said they’d overheard higher ups speaking well of Dawkins.”

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran The Berzerker (Real name: John Nord) celebrates his 63rd birthday today.

After making a name for himself in Verne Gagne’s AWA and Fritz Von Erich’s WCCW as “Nord The Barbarian” (and later as “Yukon John”), John joined Vince Mcmahon’s WWF in 1991 as “The Viking”, but was soon renamed “The Berzerker”.

The Berzerker stayed with the World Wrestling Federation till 1993, then went to Japan, before he joined Ted Turner’s WCW in 1997 under his real name.

The by far most memorable scene of his WWF career was, when he tried to attack and kill (kayfabe wise) The Undertaker with a sword.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERZERKER!
