Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring RAW and Ronda Rousey.

• RAW Wrestler Announces Birth Of His Second Child

RAW wrestler Pete Dunne has announced the birth of his second child, sharing the news on Instagram with a photo of himself holding his daughter and pushing a stroller.

In the post, Dunne also showed off a clean new haircut and beard trim, writing, “New baby Fresh trim Back soon GODBLESS.”

Dunne and his partner Demi Burchel already have a daughter named Emmi Rae, who was born on November 19, 2019.

The Bruiserweight last appeared on WWE TV during WrestleMania SmackDown, where he competed in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.

• WWE Wants To Bring Back Ronda Rousey

WWE is reportedly interested in bringing back former Women’s Champion and UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey, according to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live. But it’s unclear if Rousey is open to a return.

Alvarez said the company still has plans in mind for her. “WWE does still want to do something with Ronda Rousey,” he said. He also spoke about Shayna Baszler, who was recently released but shares a close personal and professional history with Rousey.

“Shayna Baszler obviously retired Ronda Rousey, or at least her last match in WWE. So I could not say that there’s no chance we’ll never see Shayna Baszler again. I cannot say we’ll never see Shayna again because if WWE makes a deal with Ronda and Ronda wants Shayna back, she’ll be back,” Alvarez explained.

Rousey left WWE in 2023 after losing to Baszler at SummerSlam. She later wrestled a few tag matches on the independent scene and in ROH, but her last match took place in November 2023.

Since her exit, Rousey has been openly critical of WWE and previously accused Drew Gulak of inappropriate backstage behavior.

Rousey made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 in 2018, teaming with Kurt Angle to defeat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. She went on to win multiple championships and also won the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
