• Reason Behind Ted DiBiase Jr.’s WrestleMania 42 Week Tease Revealed
After being cleared of all charges in the Mississippi welfare fraud case, with a jury delivering a not guilty verdict, Ted DiBiase Jr. recently dropped a video teasing that he would be in Las Vegas on April 19, which is the date for the second night of WrestleMania 42.
The tease quickly led to speculation among fans that DiBiase could be the mystery voice in Randy Orton’s ear on SmackDown, given his history with both Orton and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes during their time in Legacy. However, that theory was shut down when Pat McAfee was revealed as the one aligned with Orton.
It has now been confirmed that DiBiase’s tease was not related to WWE programming. Instead, he is set to appear at WrestleCon, which will take place at the Horseshoe Hotel in Las Vegas from April 16 to April 19 during WrestleMania week.
WrestleCon announced the following on X: “Presented by 123 Talent, come meet ex-WWE superstar Ted DiBiase! Ted will be available all four days for photos & autographs.”

In the opening match of the main show of WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2026, Lola Vice defeated Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey in a Triple Threat Match to win the NXT Women’s Championship.
This was Lola’s first title win in WWE. She is also the current AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship with Mr. Iguana.
Jacy Jayne’s second NXT Women’s Title reign ended at 137 days. Jacy tweeted the following after her loss:

At GCW Spring Break 10 on April 17, Brodie Lee Jr. (son of late WWE/AEW wrestler Luke Harper aka Brodie Lee) will have his first singles match. His opponent will be former AEW wrestler Joey Janela.
At tonight’s GCW Maniac event, the match was made official in a contract signing segment. During the segment, Joey made a disrespectful comment:
“Brodie, your mom already buried her husband. She doesn’t wanna bury her son as well.”
Brodie Jr.’s mother, Amanda Huber, signed the contract for her son’s match. Brodie Jr. then attacked Janela and laid him out. You can watch it below:
