• Reason Behind The Miz Turning On Logan Paul At WrestleMania 38
At WrestleMania 38 Saturday, The Miz & Logan Paul defeated Dominik & Rey Mysterio in a Tag Team Match.
This was Logan’s 1st ever match in WWE. After the match, Miz turned on Logan and laid him out with a Skull Crushing Finale.
According to the Wrestling Observer, this post-match angle was done to turn Logan into a babyface (even though the fans cheered when Miz laid him out), as that was a part of his deal with WWE:
“Do you know why they did the Logan/Miz thing at the end that we couldn’t understand? Because when they made this deal with Logan Paul to do this angle, part of the deal was when the angle was over [Logan’s] gonna be babyface.”
On his Impaulsive podcast, Logan said the following about wanting to be a babyface in WWE:
“I don’t want to be a bad guy. I don’t want to be a heel. I am a heel now, I guess technically, but maybe I could be a babyface.”
Will Logan return for another match in WWE to face The Miz? There have been no reports about it, but one would think that is going to be the plan with what happened at WrestleMania.
