• Reason Behind WWE Wanting To Turn The Fiend & Alexa Bliss Babyfaces (Exclusive)
On last night’s episode of RAW, Alexa Bliss held “A Moment of Bliss” with special guest Randy Orton.
During the segment, Bliss jumped onto Orton’s arms as “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt entered the ring. Orton gave Bliss back to The Fiend, and got out of the ring. Orton then asked him “who’s laughing now?”
The Fiend asked The Viper to hand over Bliss to him, which may be an indication that Orton will play the bad guy in this feud.
WWFOldSchool.com was told that WWE is indeed planning to turn The Fiend a babyface against Orton, as they usually avoid heel vs. heel or face vs. face feuds.
Usually, The Fiend’s opponents are faces and he plays the heel, but the case will be different this time.
A source told us the following:
“Vince has no plans to turn Orton face anytime soon. He’s had an excellent run as a heel this year, and the chairman wants to see more of it.”
Another source said:
“WWE has been planning the final encounter between Orton and Edge at WrestleMania for a long time, and turning Orton face would affect the company’s long-term booking.”
This is most probably why WWE is rumored to turn The Fiend and Alexa Bliss babyfaces in the coming weeks.
