6. Important Notes From This Week’s Episode Of SmackDown Live

The following are the major things that happened this week’s episode and are about to happen on the upcoming episodes of SmackDown Live:

– Shelton Benjamin will be returning to WWE soon and will be a part of SmackDown Live.

– Rhyno made his return to SmackDown Live and he hit Heath Slater (who demanded to be put in the main event as he’s the hottest free agent) with a Gore!

– American Alpha (Jason Jordan & Chad Gable) will make their main roster debut on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

– Randy Orton made his in-ring return on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live. He defeated the current Intercontinental Champion The Miz after hitting him with 2 RKOs.

– Women’s Division on SmackDown heated up with the return of Naomi & Eva Marie and the debut of Alexa Bliss & Carmella.

– The first SmackDown exclusive PPV will be Backlash. It will he held on September 11.

– Dolph Ziggler became the #1 contender for the WWE Championship.


5. Was Randy Orton’s “No Enhancement Needed” Line At Battleground 2016 Scripted?

For those who don’t know, Randy Orton took a shot at Brock Lesnar’s failed UFC 200 drug tests during his return at Battleground 2016 as he talked about how 15-20 suplexes is what it takes to go to Suplex City, while only 1 RKO is needed to go to Viperville.

Then Orton went on to take a shot at Lesnar by saying “no enhancement needed”. You can watch the highlights of his segment at Battleground 2016 below:

It is being said that the line Orton used was actually scripted by the WWE officials. Brock Lesnar will return next week on Raw (possibly without Paul Heyman) and will address Orton’s comments.
