Reason Behind Brock Lesnar Not Being Suspended By WWE Due To UFC 200 Drug Test Failures Revealed, Will Ziggler vs. Ambrose Main Event SummerSlam 2016? Raw Superstars Compete After SmackDown Live Goes Off The Air

Let us take a look at the top 8 WWE News & Professional Wrestling stories of the hour:

8. Dolph Ziggler To Face Dean Ambrose For The WWE Championship At SummerSlam 2016, The Match Not Expected To Headline The Event
On this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan announced a 6 Pack Challenge for the main event and the winner of that match gets a shot at Dean Ambrose’s WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2016. Bryan initially chose the following names:

– John Cena

– Dolph Ziggler

– Bray Wyatt

– Baron Corbin

– AJ Styles

Bryan noted that the 6th participant in the match will be the man who wins a Battle Royal match, which was next. Apollo Crews won the Battle Royal and was added to the main event.

During the main event of SmackDown Live, Dolph Ziggler won and became the #1 contender for the WWE Championship and will now face Ambrose for the Title at SummerSlam 2016.

It should be noted that the WWE Championship match might not headline SummerSlam 2016, as this year’s SummerSlam is expected to be headlined by Seth Rollins & Finn Balor for the WWE Universal Championship.

7. What Happened After SmackDown Live Went Off The Air?

After SmackDown Live went off the air, Raw Superstars came out and competed in the dark main event of the night.

The team of Roman Reigns & WWE Dean Ambrose defeated the team of Bray Wyatt & Seth Rollins. The finish came when Ambrose hit Rollins with the Dirty Deeds.

A similar happened after this week’s Raw went off the air, as SmackDown Superstars competed in Raw’s dark main event (John Cena & WWE Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins & AJ Styles when Ambrose pinned Rollins after hitting Dirty Deeds).

Speaking of Raw, this week’s episode (which was the first Raw of the new Brand Extension era and featured the debut of Finn Balor & Nia Jax, announcement of the WWE Universal Championship, Sasha Banks winning the Women’s Title, Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns in the main event) drew 3.39 million viewers, which is up from last week’s 3.13 million viewers.
