3. Reason Behind Brock Lesnar Not Being Suspended By WWE Due To UFC 200 Drug Test Failures Revealed

There was a lot of speculation regarding Brock Lesnar’s failed UFC 200 drug tests leading to a WWE Wellness Policy suspension for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

But it can now be confirmed that WWE won’t be suspending Lesnar. A WWE Spokesperson told TMZ that only full time WWE Superstar get tested in WWE and have to abide by the company’s wellness policy, not the Part Time Superstars (The Undertaker, The Rock, Brock Lesnar & Triple H).

The spokesperson also said that WWE is not a legitimate competition but a show business and the wellness policy ensures that their full time Superstars (who work an average of 200 days every year) are healthy.

Brock Lesnar failed an out-of-competition as well as in-competition drug test (which is conducted 12 hours before & after the fight).

Clomiphene, an estrogen blocker which is taken after a cycle of steroids, was found in Lesnar’s system and the same substance was found in Jon Jones’ system as well (current interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion) and this led to Jones getting pulled from the main event of UFC 200.

Lesnar’s $2.5 million guaranteed pay for UFC 200 (excluding the PPV cut) will go untouched as UFC plans to leave the fines up to the state athletic commissions.
