• Returning Wrestler Wants A WWE Title Match Against Drew McIntyre, Says He Wants To Win 10+ WWE Titles

Jinder Mahal recently spoke to WWE India to promote the upcoming Superstar Spectacle event.

During the interview, Mahal was asked if he’d like to face his former 3MB brother, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, in a Title match.

Below is what he said:

“Absolutely, you know Drew McIntyre is a very good friend of mine. You know, he’s almost like my brother but let’s not forget he has the WWE Championship. So, friendships aside, business is business. Championships are championships. Legacy is legacy and he is two-time WWE Champion.

I would like to become, not only two-time WWE Champion but three-time, four-time, ten-time WWE Champion, and even beyond that. Sometimes you have to put friendships aside and what happens in the ring happens in the ring.”

The Modern Day Maharaja will be back in action at Superstar Spectacle. To read the complete spoilers of the event, tap here.

• Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Attitude Era Writer & former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vince Russo celebrates his 60th birthday today.

Russo originally started as WWF Magazine editor Vic Venom in 1992, but was promoted to the WWF Booking commission in 1996.

Vince McMahon has confirmed on several occasions that he ended up using only about 20% of Russo’s ideas, but rejected about 80% of them, so when Vince Russo jumped ship to Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in September 1999 and was given free control as the head booker to use 100% of his own ideas, it was not at all surprising that his creative decisions made them lose a huge amount of money and basically killed WCW financially.

Like him or hate him, but he’s still considered one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling history.
