6. The Rock Comments On Him Being President One Day
During his recent comments in GQ Magazine, The Rock talked about becoming President of the USA one day. Below is what The Rock posted on Instagram referring to the article by Alyssa Rosenberg regarding this:
“Interesting piece from The Washington Post on if I ran for POTUS I could actually win. Writer Alyssa Rosenberg did some pretty good research into my background (slave descendants fighting for their freedom, Revolutionary War etc). Much more to uncover but well done. More and more pieces like this are popping up due to the Presidential election and they’re cool/fun to read… I care DEEPLY about our county… and the idea of one day becoming President to create real positive impact and global change is very alluring. Buuuuut until that possible day, the most important thing right now is strong honest leadership from our current and future leaders of this country. Thanks again Washington Post.”
5. CM Punk’s UFC Debut Postponed?
It was expected that former WWE cruiserweight wrestler CM Punk would make his UFC debut at UFC 202 (on the same night as NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn), but it looks like that’s not the case anymore.
MMA Journalist Ariel Helwani is now reporting that Punk might be fighting Mickey Gall at UFC 203, which will take place on September 10, 2016 and will be headlined by the UFC Heavyweight Title bout between the current Champion Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem.
