• Roman Reigns Turns Down Major WWE Idea

After The Shield split, Roman Reigns was pushed as the “Face Of WWE”.

However, the problem with that move was that Vince McMahon basically turned his character into John Cena 2.0, which resulted in backlash from the fans.

While Reigns was and still is the #1 merch seller in WWE, he was getting heavily booed at the shows, which is similar to what was happening with Cena as well, where he was getting booed of the arenas, but was still the #1 merch seller.

In 2020, Reigns returned as a heel at SummerSlam and debuted the popular “Tribal Chief” character.

There were reports recently that WWE is still following Vince McMahon’s original plan for Roman, which is turning The Head Of The Table into a babyface again in the future.

However, Ringsidenews is reporting that Roman & Paul Heyman recently made it clear to WWE Officials that “Tribal Chief / Head Of The Table” is a heel character and Roman doesn’t want to turn into a babyface character again.

Reigns & Heyman reportedly don’t want to fix something that isn’t broken, and that the Tribal Chief is serving his purpose as the top attraction in pro-wrestling today.
