At the WWE Money In The Bank 2023 premium live event, Shayna Baszler turned on her tag team partner Ronda Rousey and brutally assaulted her, and then left the match.

This resulted in Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez double-teaming on Ronda and Liv pinning Rousey to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Rousey posted highlights from this match on Instagram and revealed that the time for this match was cut 3 times:

“When your time gets cut three times but you still put on a banger #ChickenSalad”

Rousey came out on tonight’s RAW and got interrupted by Shayna Baszler. Shayna said nobody wants to hear Ronda talk and the fans cheered.

Shayna said she introduced Ronda to the wrestling business and she owes everyone an apology for doing that, and the fans cheered again.

Baszler then talked about how she built up rings and paid her dues, while Ronda had her first match right away at WrestleMania and then main evented it as well.

“Unlike you, I paid my dues. I love this and you have ruined it for me.”

The fans cheered for Shayna throughout this segment and this was a babyface turn for her. Ronda then attacked Shayna, but Shayna fought back and laid out Ronda with a brutal knee strike to the face.

Rousey screamed at Baszler to come back as they are not done, but Baszler left.

Ronda wrote the following after this segment:

“No one hits you quite like your friends.”

Rousey vs. Baszler is scheduled for SummerSlam 2023. Rousey might be leaving WWE after this match, according to the Wrestling Observer.
