7. Tommy Dreamer Gives His Views On The Risk Factor Involved In The Buckle Bomb
During a recent appearance on WZ Radio, former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Dreamer discussed Seth Rollins’ Buckle Bomb resulting in multiple injuries. Below is what Dreamer said:
“I know there’s a lot of debate about the “Buckle Bomb” as it’s called. Most guys will take that. The biggest thing is when you’re going backwards guys always have a tendency to look backwards because it’s a natural reaction. If you’re not hitting that properly it’s going to look vicious. It’s going to hurt a neck. If you saw how Finn did it his shoulder went back. He also reached back and it’s going to extend your shoulder. It happens. I’d be a hypocrite for all the stuff I have done but there are some moves that maybe shouldn’t be used. You’re also talking to a guy who walked in to a building and would say, “I want to get choke slammed off that.” So, I get why guys do it.”
