Sgt. Slaughter Adamantly Denied Any Involvement With Lacey Evans

As seen on last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Lacey Evans copied WWF Legend Sgt. Slaughter’s look for her entrance gear, before her Money In The Bank qualifier match against Zelina Vega.

Slaughter’s daughter posted a screenshot of our WrestleFeed App’s page’s graphic about this on Twitter to react in a very negative way about the so called ‘gimmick infringement’ (when someone copies another wrestler’s character without asking for permission first).

Here’s what she tweeted:

“No. This is NOT okay. @WWE Who the f**k does @LaceyEvansWWE think she is?!? There’s only 1 @_SgtSlaughter, there’s only 1 Slaughter Daughter, and she’s just a poser.”

Lacey Evans then replied in a Tweet of her own:

“Your daddy’s biggest fan. A United States Marine. And a bad Mfer

You know who I am. And where to find me.”

2004 WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter himself tweeted:

“Lookout @LaceyEvansWWE You’ve Got @_sgtdaughter P*ssed

Lacey then replied in an angry way and told the former WWF Champion to give birth to someone who could carry his legacy.

Here’s what she tweeted:

“Between your hips and her wrestling ability, the chances of anyone in your bloodline to put me in a bag is 0.

When you birth someone who can carry your legacy or take me out, call me.

Until then, salute me. Like the real Marine I am. Rah.”

In an update, WrestleVotes reported the following about this situation:

“Adding to the Lacey Evans / Sgt. Slaughter story… back in January WWE asked Sarge to appear in the Lacey return vignettes, where he would ‘teach’ & pass down the Cobra Clutch. Slaughter adamantly denied any involvement.”
