3. vs. Kurt Angle
All of you have seen the clips and the pictures of the glass breaking, but do you remember the entire feud?
As the on screen WCW owner, Shane had his problems with WWF Superstar Kurt Angle and both were scheduled to a match at the WWF King of the Ring 2001 PPV, a match that wouldn’t be part of the actual tournament.
Mind you that at the point the match started, Kurt Angle had already participated in two tournament matches, winning the semi final against Christian but losing the final against Edge, before taking on Shane McMahon in a Street Fight, which was the co-main event of the evening.
After 26 brutal minutes, Kurt Angle got the victory, but Shane took some insane punishment from the Olympic Gold Medalist that night.
