5. vs. X-Pac
In early 1999, shortly after debuting as an on screen character, Shane McMahon got involved in the feud of his father’s corporation stable and Triple H’s stable D-Generation X.
Shane McMahon defeated DX member & European Champion X-Pac during a Tag match on RAW with the title on the line, so he became the new European Champion that night.
X-Pac tried to regain the title at WWF WrestleMania XV but failed.
That’s around that time, when Shane introduced his former college buddies, the Mean Street Posse, as his backup.
Shane won yet another match against X-Pac during the WWF UK No Mercy 1999 PPV.
