During a recent appearance on WZ Radio, Disco Inferno & Konnan discussed Chris Jericho’s current heel run in WWE and him messing with the Internet fans & more. Below is what they said:
Disco Inferno: “He’s very smart. That’s what these younger guys don’t understand. In this day and age it’s very difficult to be disliked. If you’re given the role of playing the heel a lot of these younger guys just don’t know how to do it. You have just got to do things that get people to dislike you 24/7. Whether it’s on Twitter, whether it’s on Facebook… whatever social media. You just have to constantly do things to get people to dislike you. Chris is smart. When you’re a heel the reaction you want is not the “This Is Awesome” chants during his match. He wants the fans to boo him.”
Konnan: “He did something that was awesome that really cracked me up. He comes out with this scarf… which is heat. Then boom, you know WaleMania? It’s this thing that we do. We invite a whole bunch of our friends to WaleMania. Right? Then we have a green room in the back for just our friends. Chris shows up with the f*cking scarf on. How awesome is that?”
