HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL WATTS!

• OLD SCHOOL VIDEO HISTORY (May 5, 1986) – Old School Women’s Wrestling

On this day in 1986, the World Wrestling Federation aired a match between Donna Christianello and Linda Gonzalez.

If you thought that the modern day PG era “Women’s Revolution” of the current WWE Divas was great, you actually ain’t seen nothing yet.

You have to watch this match, which is as good as a match between two female wrestlers gets, ofcourse minus all the high spot fests & high flying / high risk maneuvers.

The match features 2 very underrated Wrestlers, who never get mentioned anywhere nowadays.

• SmackDown Live Star Getting Main Event Push Soon?

As seen on this week’s SmackDown Live, Lana gave a hint to Rusev that Aiden English might be the one who’s holding him back and it looks like the team of Rusev & English is going to split up soon.

However, that might not be a bad thing. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials see Rusev & Lana as a main event pairing, while they see Rusev & English as a mid-card level team.

If WWE is going in the direction of putting Lana back as Rusev’s manager, then it’s very much possible that Rusev is set to enter the main event scene on SmackDown Live soon.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
