• SmackDown Results – WWF Legend Returning At SummerSlam 2022
– Tonight’s SmackDown kicked off with Michael Cole interviewing Pat McAfee. Pat talked about his past with Happy Corbin and promised to smack him in the mouth at SummerSlam.
Happy Corbin interrupted and said that he is a fighter while Pat just punts footballs. He told Pat to stay in his lane behind the Commentary Table.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan def. Natalya
– Paul Heyman told Mr. Money In The Bank Theory that he shouldn’t cash in at SummerSlam, and instead work with him on a scheduled time to cash-in at a big event.
Theory said he will cash-in at SummerSlam and maybe he’ll need a special counsel of his own when he hires Paul.
– The New Day mocked The Viking Raiders as The New Raid. Viking Raiders came out and confronted them. New Day, Jinder Mahal & Shanky formed an alliance and attacked Erik & Ivar.
– A rematch between Shinsuke Nakamura & Ludwig Kaiser is announced for next week. Intercontinental Champion Gunther reminded Ludwig of what will happen if he loses again and chopped him.
– Lacey Evans vs. Aliyah was scheduled to take place, but Lacey wasn’t happy with the fans not cheering for her and walked to the back.
– Drew McIntyre def. Ridge Holland
– Maxxine Dupri will arrive next week.
– Madcap Moss def. Mr. Money In The Bank Theory after Theory hit him with the MITB briefcase
– Brock Lesnar will appear on next week’s SmackDown.
– Angelo Dawkins def. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso
After the match, Adam Pearce came out and revealed that WWF Legend Jeff Jarrett will be the Special Guest Referee for the Tag Team Title match between The Usos & Street Profits at SummerSlam 2022. Both teams then brawled.
