• Spoiler On Who’ll Win The Men’s Elimination Chamber Match
The quest for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42 is facing a chaotic countdown as WWE officials struggle to finalize the title match for Las Vegas.
While the Wrestling Observer reports that Cody Rhodes is a “virtual lock” to challenge the reigning champion, Drew McIntyre, the company is reportedly worried that a standard one-on-one rematch of their Berlin encounter might feel too predictable for the biggest show of the year.
To inject some unpredictability, there is heavy internal pressure to add “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu to the mix. However, this creative indecision has triggered a wave of panic at WWE headquarters in Stamford. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, marketing and production teams are hitting a wall; they are facing strict deadlines for posters and promotional videos but cannot move forward without knowing if the match is a singles contest or a Triple Threat.
The logistics are further complicated by this Saturday’s Elimination Chamber in Chicago. Rhodes is already booked for the high-stakes cage match to earn his title shot, but since Fatu is not in the Chamber, writers are scrambling to find a logical way to insert him into the title picture.
While names like Randy Orton and Sami Zayn have been mentioned in passing, sources indicate that WWE is currently only choosing between two options: a straight singles match or a three-way dance.
With that being said, The American Nightmare is the odds on favorite to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber match this Saturday.
• WWE Is “Well Aware” That Fans Want Dream Match At WrestleMania 42
WWE is reportedly rethinking its WrestleMania 42 plans for Brock Lesnar following a massive surge in fan interest for a showdown with rising star Oba Femi.
While internal creative originally slated Lesnar for a singles match against LA Knight — a rivalry sparked by Knight helping eliminate The Beast from the Royal Rumble — the company is now “well aware” that the audience has a different appetite, according to the Wrestling Observer.
The shift in momentum became undeniable during the February 23 episode of RAW in Atlanta. When Paul Heyman issued an open challenge for WrestleMania on Lesnar’s behalf, the live crowd responded with loud, sustained chants for Femi.
The Observer noted that Heyman and Lesnar’s decision to stay silent during the chants was a tactical move, likely intended to protect a potential storyline pivot without committing to it too early.
Brock and Oba collided during the Men’s Royal Rumble, where The Beast ended up eliminating The Ruler.
