• Stone Cold Steve Austin Hit An Unplanned Stunner At WrestleMania 38
On Night 2 of WrestleMania 38, Pat McAfee defeated Austin Theory. Then Vince McMahon defeated McAfee.
Stone Cold Steve Austin then came out and stunned all 3 of them.
On The Pat McAfee Show, McAfee revealed that he didn’t know Austin was going to hit him with the Stunner:
“I was sitting there just befuddled by everything that was going on in my life right there.
You know, I’m not good enough in that business for everything that — there was a lot of trust that was placed upon me, I think, that in hindsight should not have been.
Because I’m in there like, ‘God damn, I should have been given a heads up.’ How many times have I done this? Three times? I’ve done this three times… they were really confident in me figuring some stuff out, I guess.”

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 5, 1992, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania VIII’ LIVE on PPV from the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This was the 8th annual WrestleMania event and it had the taglines “Friendship Torn Apart!” & “The Macho/Flair Affair!”.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.
