• Stone Cold Steve Austin Reacts To Rumors About His WrestleMania 39 Return

We recently reported that there are ongoing talks between WWF Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H regarding The Texas Rattlesnake coming out of retirement again for yet another match at ‘WrestleMania 39: Hollywood’.

Stone Cold – who wrestled his first match in 19 years at this year’s WrestleMania 38, where he defeated Kevin Owens – could main event (or co-main event) the first night on April 1st 2023, if in fact they can get The Rock to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the planned dream match as the main event for the second night of the event on April 2nd.

Austin took to Instagram and neither confirmed nor denied an upcoming in-ring return at next year’s WrestleMania, but rather came up with another reason why he’s currently getting himself in great shape and is going full force with his workouts these days (as seen on Instagram).

Here’s what The Texas Rattlesnake wrote:

“People have been speculating ‘Hey Steve, what are you doing? What are you training for? You training for an event?’

You can speculate what you want, I just looked in the mirror and realized that I looked like sh*t, so I called my diet coach up. As far as bodyweight goes, probably sub 232 (lbs) the leanest I’ve been in sh*t, forever.

Anyway that’s the bottom line, I just got tired of, I looked in the mirror and I looked like sh*t. Got tired of looking like sh*t, so I’m taking action to do something about it.”

Keep in mind that Steve obviously isn’t going to confirm his deal with WWE for the big event until it’s officially announced, as that procedure is part of their agreement (that is, if there already is one).
